Mike, another good looking fedora there, and a special M65. Congratulations!

When talking about equipment, it’s interesting how the concept of “tactical” (or if you are old enough, the word “combat”) has changed.

This Tac Holster (with extra ammo right there with the ROSCOE) could have been seen as an “improvement” to carrying some loose rounds in your back pocket.

I barely remember reading a write up about these, it’s been a long time since I’ve heard of them.

It’s been a few months since this thread began, I haven’t heard anything else about this anywhere. Has anyone learned anything?

I just recently learned of this group, and with revolver pistols (Roscoes) being my roots and in my blood, I had to join.

Carried autoloaders for most of my career, usually with a snubby tucked away somewhere.

Retired last summer out of Sacramento, CA. Considering the dramatic changes to the state during my lifetime, we sold or gave away almost everything to move.

We bought an RV and began a trip to my wife’s hometown of Houston, visiting friends and family all along the way.

Been visiting family & friends since, mostly throughout Texas, but also in New Mexico, Arizona, Arkansas, and Alabama. We’ve missed a few folks, including some in Oklahoma, and plan to return.

The first settlers came here in the 1800’s, in covered wagons & on horseback. This RV adventure is more comfortable, and still fun.

My wife & I are happy & we’ll eventually settle down somewhere in Texas. I also plan to return to IDPA, using my K frames to bring my ROSCOE skills back to where they used to be, and for the fun of it.
